Starwolf outfit rules

We try to keep our rules as simple as possible and as few as possible. This outfit is rather unique in the way it operates, since we do not base our structure on rules, but more on common sense and respect. Our enjoyment in the game comes not from fighting in the zerg or topping leaderboards. It comes from working as a team, tactical play and fighting for our empire. (in short: we don't give a rat's ass about stats.). Battle ranks and command ranks are meaningless in this outfit.

General rules

  • Play with honor. Take pride in the fact that you are part of this outfit.
  • Do not Teamkill. Should you TK a friendly by accident send him a /tell and apologize. The VVS macro is often missed.
  • Squad with other members from the outfit if you are online. Failure to do so means you could be removed from the outfit.
  • Do not use exploits, cheats or other things that the developers did not mean to put into the game.
  • Do not leech battle experience points by letting your teammates do all the hard work. If they work hard, you work harder.
  • If you are in a non-outfit squad, you still have to follow our rules. We want Starwolf to be known for it's quality players.

Playing solo

Playing solo for a while is ok, but at least let your teammates know so they are not wondering why you are online but don't want to squad with them.

Teamspeak

This outfit is part of the Terra Nova Gaming Community and we use a TNGC teamspeak server. It is adviced to join our teamspeak channel even if you do not want to speak. You can still log on and listen, because sometimes the only way to save a specific situation is to give quick orders through teamspeak.

Leading

Leadership and the CR ranks that go with it have a special place in Starwolf.

  • If you want to lead a squad, you do have to lead it. Leeching CEP by not giving orders is a good way of cutting your career short.
  • People ranked Lonewolf or Tribesman cannot lead squads.
  • The only time we split into two squads is when we have more then 10 members online.
  • Follow the squad leaders orders to the letter. If he orders you to jump off the Ceryshen bridge or in a Searhus lava lake, you do it without hesitation.
  • When decisions have to be made the order of importance is : Squad leader, God, Squad member.
  • Do not play "tag along in a platoon". Stay active, look for opportunities and try to make your own plan, even if you are not platoon leader.

Recruiting

Actual recruiting is done either by Aveox, Killerwolf2k3 or Headhunter2k3. If you find someone that could fit into our outfit, send them to the persons above for further screening. We are looking for quality players, not quantity.

Absence

Two weeks of absence without notice means you are demoted. One month of absence without notice means removal from the outfit. There is a thread on the forums for posting your absence

Alternate Characters

You may only have Vanu Sovereignty characters on Werner, and it is very much preferred to have all alt characters in the outfit. Having a character in another outfit or TR/NC characters on Werner means immediate removal from Starwolf. It is ofcourse allowed to have NC/TR characters on Emerald, Markov and the Test server.

This may sound like a harsh rule, but there is nothing more frustrating then fighting people from your own outfit that play on another empire while you are a man short to complete a specific mission.

Certifications

The outfit does not require you to have any certifications. However, it is adviced to always carry a REK.

Age limit

We do not enforce an age limit, but we require you to have a mature attitude. Voice spamming, cheating or other inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated.
